Payment Methods

UK Customers
Orders should be prepaid by Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Maestro. Cheques should be made payable to 'Windcraft Ltd'.

International Customers
Please pay by one of the following methods:

Credit Card - Visa/Mastercard/Maestro.
Bank Draft drawn from any English Bank. Foreign cheques will not be accepted because negotiation charges are too high.

Invoiced Orders
Minimum Value £15.00
Invoices are issued solely as a means of convenience and only to authorised customers. All invoices must be settled immediately, i.e. we do not offer credit facilities. Late payment will jeopardise this facility and will result in further orders being accepted only on a prepaid basis. Please Note: We do not send out statements.

Prices
Our prices are based on manufacturers’ price guides which are subject to change. For this reason our prices are also subject to change and shall be charged at the price ruling at date of despatch.

The cost of imported goods are also subjected to worldwide currency instability. We therefore regret that price alterations may be necessary at short notice. If the price of the item you have ordered has increased to any large extent, you will be notified prior to your order being despatched.

VAT will be charged @ 17.5% on all goods despatched.

EEC Customers will be charged VAT unless a VAT Registration Number is supplied. Customers outside of the EEC will not be charged VAT.

UK Customers - Trade
Postage, processing and handling charges are as follows:

Orders below £30 excluding VAT £1.75
Orders between £30 and £75 excluding VAT £3.00

Orders below £30 excluding VAT that include heavy Ferree's tools, stands or instrument cases will be sent by carrier at a charge of £6.00

Our policy is not to charge postage on small back-ordered items. However, back-orders which include heavy Ferree's tools, stands or instrument cases will be subject to postage at cost up to a maximum of £6.00

Handling and postage charges are subject to VAT at 17.5%

International Customers
Small orders will be sent by International Signed For Letter Post with a £4.50 minimum charge. Large or heavy orders will be sent by International Courier. Delivery time is normally a minimum of 3-5 days from despatch of order.

Stock Availability Information

Goods which are temporarily out of stock will be forwarded as soon as they become available. If the order has been prepaid and delivery is not imminent, a credit note will be issued.

Written confirmation is required to cancel goods placed on ‘Back-order’. ‘Special product orders’ cannot be cancelled or returned under any circumstance. A 50% deposit may be requested for any special order.

Returned Goods

All goods returned for refund or exchange must be in the same condition as when despatched by us. Any external packaging must not be damaged or defaced. We retain the right to refuse returned goods or make a handling and restocking charge as necessary.

Full Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions
1.1 The ‘Buyer’ means the person who buys or agrees to buy Goods from the Seller.
1.2 The ‘Seller’ means Windcraft Limited.
1.3 ‘Conditions’ means any Conditions of Sale expressed in this document and any special conditions which have been agreed in writing by the Seller.

2 Conditions
2.1 These are the only conditions which apply to all sales of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer, unless agreed in writing by the Seller.
2.2 Acceptance of delivery of Goods will be understood as the Buyers acceptance of these Conditions without effecting any Statutory Rights.

3 Prices
3.1 The Price shall be as currently listed by the Seller (or as stated in a written quotation).
3.2 The Seller reserves the right to revise prices prior to despatch of Goods.
3.3 All Prices, charges for packing, postage and carriage are subject to VAT regulations.
3.4 Payment must be made in full before any Goods can be despatched.
3.5 The Euro value shown is calculated from a daily spot rate and is shown for comparison only. All charges will be made in Pounds Sterling and any final currency conversion will be carried out by the processing bank.

4 Postage/Shipping Carges
4.1 Please refer to the latest Postage Charges as specified above.

5 Warranty
5.1 All new instruments are fully checked in our workshop before sale and come with 1 year’s free servicing and warranty.
5.2 If goods are found to be damaged or defective, we will at our option repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid.

6 Delivery
6.1 The Seller may deliver by instalments or select an alternative carrier without notice to the Buyer.
6.2 The Seller shall not be liable for any losses or expenses incurred from any failure to meet estimated delivery dates.

7 Ownership and Risk
7.1 The risk in Goods passes to the Buyer on delivery of the Goods or on payment by the Buyer but kept at the Seller’s premises at the Buyer’s request.
7.2 The Seller remains the owner of the Goods until the Seller has been paid in full for such Goods.
7.3 The Buyer must inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and notify the Seller within five days if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with the Contract. If the Buyer fails to do this he is deemed to have accepted the Goods.
7.4 Any Goods which are received defective or damaged must be kept together with the original packing at the Buyer’s risk until the Seller can inspect or collect the Goods or notify the Buyer to return the goods.

8 Cancellation and Returns
8.1 No Contract shall be cancelled nor Goods returned without prior written approval of the Seller and on terms to be determined by the Seller.
8.2 The Seller reserves the right to make a handling and restocking charge on Goods which are returned if they were ordered in error or are no longer required.

9 Force Majeure
9.1 The Seller will not be under any liability in the event that the Seller is prevented or delayed from supplying any Goods by cause beyond the Seller’s control.

10 Dispute
10.1 In the event of a dispute between the Buyer and the Seller, the Buyer agrees to submit the dispute to Arbitration as a legally binding alternative to Court action. These Conditions shall be construed in accordance with English Law.
